It was a true honor to have Dr. Raju Thomas as President of the American Urological Association (2021 – 2022). Due to loosened restrictions regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, the 2022 in-person meeting in New Orleans was a resounding success. Attracting attendees and industry as well providing an educational experience for our members, urology residents, and urologic fellows, the annual meeting brought together various societies from around the world to New Orleans. Dr. Thomas is now the Immediate Past President of the AUA and continues to be on the Board of Directors of the AUA.
