Audubon Park Golf Course
New Orleans, LA

Tulane Urology hosted the First Annual Tulane Urology Golf Tournament on Friday September 30, 2011 at Audubon Park Golf Course in the heart of New Orleans. All proceeds benefitted the Tulane Urology Prostate Cancer Research Fund.
Tulane Urology has a long tradition of both clinical and basic science research in unraveling the mysteries of prostate cancer. Prostate cancer is the most common form of cancer in males, and early diagnosis is crucial. It is highly recommended that all men aged 40 and above take advantage of the free Tulane Cancer Center prostate screening program and have their prostate checked.
With an innovative research team headed by Dr. Asim Abdel-Mageed, Tulane Urology's Molecular Biology Program is well integrated with our state-of-the-art surgical team to investigate various factors of prostate cancer to promote early diagnosis and unravel the genetic link.
Our well attended Prostate Cancer Support Group is the largest continually running men's support group in the State of Louisiana, and this forum continues to inspire men to emulate what women have done in the field of breast cancer, and their struggle to eradicate it.
